The Ford F-250 is typically considered a work truck, and it has earned that reputation. However, the Ford F-250, part of the Super Duty series, is one of the most popular trucks for heavy-duty work. It's not only a terrific work truck, but it can also be a family truck that is more than capable of taking everyone on comfortable trips out of Plymouth, NH. Let's not forget, though, that the Super Duty is a truck that can tow and haul quite a bit of weight, and it is a performance-oriented truck.

If you're looking for a truck that can work hard when necessary but also doubles as a family friendly vehicle, then look no further than the Ford F-250 at Lebanon Ford.

The standard engine in a Ford F-250 truck is a 6.2-liter V8 gas-powered engine. This is paired with a six-speed transmission, but some Super Duty trucks may have an optional ten-speed engine in its place. The Super Duty is either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive.

There are two other optional engines for the Super Duty. The first is also a gas powered 7.3-liter V8 engine that offers drivers up to 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of performance torque.

The second engine option is a powerful 6.7-liter turbodiesel engine. This V8 offers Claremont drivers up to 475 horsepower and a whopping 1,050 pound-feet of torque.

Because the Ford Super Duty can be configured in a number of ways, the Ford F-250 offers multiple tow and payload ratings. The top tow ratings of the Super Duty are an impressive 7,850 pound payload, and the Super Duty can tow, using a traditional hitch, up to 24,200 pounds. When towing a fifth-wheel or gooseneck-type trailer, the Super Duty can tow up to 37,000.

The interior of the Super Duty is spacious and quite comfortable. Of course, the higher trim levels of the Super Duty will offer leather seats — which are usually heated and ventilated — a sun roof, a Wi-Fi hotspot, woodgrain trim and so much more.

All Super Duty trucks, starting with the XLT trim, are equipped with an infotainment touchscreen that offers drivers the ability to connect their smartphones to the system with either Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™. With the available in-dash navigation, Randolph, VT drivers can call up directions or to make phone calls - even send voice-activated texts with the software. Plus, this software keeps drivers safe as they travel because they can utilize these features without taking their eyes off the road. The base XL trim has a more traditional stereo system that does not feature an infotainment screen.

The Super Duty is also known around New London for a great deal of space in the cabin, and our customers have praised the quiet ride of the Super Duty trucks.

The Super Duty truck can be configured in a number of ways. The cab may be a Regular, SuperCab or Super Crew cab. You can pair this with either a regular length bed, a short bed or a long bed. While not all combinations of cab and bed length are available, there are more than enough options for you to find something that can work for you.
